I truly believe that life’s adventures are only as great as those that you embark on them with. As a lifestyle and adventure photographer, I love being able to share stories of incredible experiences with my audience and closest friends in hopes of inspiring more people to get out and explore the beautiful world that we live in- especially folks that fall under minority groups. This year, I plan on spending quite some time exploring the breathtaking Pacific Northwest region and would love if you’d be a part of that story!
A Sensible Partnership
It feels like we lived five years in one in 2020, with the travel & tourism industries taking some of the hardest hits. But with a new spring at the door and potentially the busiest outdoor season on its way, I see an opportunity for both of us to work together for mutual benefit!
The Need I See
Your vans are epic both in looks and function and I cannot help but to have a crush especially on your sportsmobile models. Every video that I have seen makes me want to pack a bag, make my way to the other coast, and hit the road. Your vans’ aesthetic is as unique and adventurous as I believe that my eye for cinematic photography is. I would love to bring up the photography side of your marketing assets! Entering a post-pandemic world, I see no better time to refresh and restock on marketable photos that you can use to promote your brand, especially with your move to Hood River! The imagery I envision for you can be used across your website, social media platforms, newsletters/emails, personal profiles, and even in print form.
The Proposed Trade
For a van rental that sleeps four adventurers from April 7-11, I can direct, shoot & produce:
50 Professionally edited photos
3-4 cinematic drone clips
Instagram stories (at least four stories) and post tags (at least two tagged posts) by all three of my team members and myself.
Some behind the scenes style photos of your team at work in your new facility and even updated headshots.
The Game Plan
Day 1: We'd love to pick up a van on the day we fly in- April 7- and drive straight to a camp ground located next to Trillium Lake.
Day 2: After catching a sunrise there the next morning with a view of Mt. Hood, we will head inland to spend our first full day hunting for and hiking through some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Central Oregon region. Stunning destinations such as Koosah Falls & Sahalie Falls are on our itinerary for that day with a pitstops in Bend & Eugene, where we will refuel on snacks & explore the coffee scene. We will spend a few hours after sunset driving towards our next destination- the Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor!
Day 3: On our second morning, we plan to catch sunrise at the natural bridges along with story-setting shots of the trails and woods leading us to the magical moments. We will spend the majority of the day exploring the state park, finding sea caves (if the tides are low), hiking, and, after lunch break, finally come back to capture a sunset at the natural bridges as well to make sure we have enough chances to capture the golden shots that people travel across the world for.
Day 4: For our third morning, we want to catch sunrise at the nearby Secret Beach by way of the 1.6 mile hiking trail. Then we head straight up the coast. We will spend the late morning and afternoon enjoying and capturing coastal views as we make our way up to Cannon Beach and Pacific City for golden hour and our final sunset.
Day 5: Upon waking up on our fourth & final morning near the beaches (hopefully catching some of Cape Kiwanda), we will head back into Portland/ Hood River to return our rental and make our way to the airport to say our goodbyes for now.
