GETAWAY HOUSE | SHENENDOAH, VA

Jarell Mique & I teamed up as part of a fellowship with Getaway House & headed to Shenandoah National Park to escape the hectic hustle of our urban lives. We were joined by our good friend Brittany Alvarez &, of course, little Alpha on this getaway where all our expectations were exceeded. Getaway House really knows how to take care of their guests & made connecting with nature so easy, seamless & enjoyable. Being an architecture & interior design geek, I couldn’t get over the gorgeously minimalistic stay. The huge glass wall/window was my absolute favorite feature of the cabin & I couldn’t get enough of the mesmerizing views. Definitely could have stayed for another day (or week) happily & can’t wait to get out there again some time!
